Our scientific research projects provide important input for filling, evaluating and further developing supervisory boards. They support neutral, scientifically sound advisory services. At the same time, they provide the boards with reliable stimulus to strengthen their monitoring capability. As pioneers in the field of supervisory boards, we analyse relevant aspects of the effectiveness of monitoring bodies and thus add to our already extensive practical experience. <\/p>\n

The “Aufsichtsrats-Score”<\/strong> is a methodically sound procedure for benchmarking supervisory boards and has established itself as the leading supervisory board study in Germany. On the basis of extensive data points, we analyse in detail formal enablers of effective supervisory board work, which are then combined to create an overall indicator. This refers to the qualitative or informal aspects of the supervisory board\u2019s activities that supervisory board members themselves are perhaps not sufficiently aware of but which have a considerable influence on the efficiency of the supervisory board.
